What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies can support the same functions. Currimo uses website functions that may need cookies to keep a requested login secure, maintain an account session, or operate a shopping basket when that function is used.
Essential functions
Strictly necessary cookies support a service you request, such as signing in or keeping track of a basket. Blocking them may prevent the relevant feature from working. Browsing a product page does not create a paid order.
WooCommerce cookies
Where the corresponding store features are used, WooCommerce’s standard cookies include the following. A cookie is not necessarily set on every visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash | Detects changes to basket contents. | Browser session |
| woocommerce_items_in_cart | Identifies whether the basket has items. | Browser session |
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | Associates a customer session with its basket data. | 2 days |
WordPress may also set authentication, session, and preference cookies when you log in or use account functions. Their names may include a site specific suffix. Security and hosting functions may use information needed to keep requests reliable and protect the service.
Optional cookies and other providers
Nonessential analytics, advertising, or embedded content cookies require the choices or consent required by applicable law before they are activated. Where such tools are introduced, the relevant information and preference controls must be presented. A payment provider may use its own cookies when a supported payment method is enabled and used; the provider’s notice explains those cookies. Live payment collection is not currently enabled.
Your browser choices
You can view, delete, and block cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies may sign you out or clear saved session information. Blocking essential cookies may stop account or basket functions from working. If a consent control is displayed, you can use it to change the optional choices it manages. Browser controls and website consent choices perform different functions.
