Browsing and orders

No purchase is required to browse our public guide descriptions. Online ordering is currently disabled. The order and payment provisions in this notice apply when an available product can be ordered.

Information we process

  • Enquiries: your name, email address, the message you send, and information you choose to provide when you contact us by email or another enabled contact method.
  • Accounts: if you register, account identifiers, email address, password credentials stored through WordPress, and account activity. Do not share your password.
  • Orders when available: customer name, billing contact details, country, order contents, amounts, transaction status, and records needed to provide downloads and support.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request times, server logs, and security or session data generated when the website is used.
  • Cookies: information used to maintain sessions and operate requested account or shopping functions. Our Cookie Policy explains this separately.

We do not request resumes

We do not currently provide resume uploads or personalized CV reviews. Please do not send resumes, identity documents, health details, or other sensitive information. If you send unnecessary personal data, we may delete it or ask you to resend a limited version of your message.

Why we use information

We use relevant information to answer enquiries, operate requested accounts, provide eligible orders and digital access when purchasing is enabled, keep appropriate transaction records, prevent misuse, maintain website reliability, and meet legal obligations. Where UK data protection law applies, our bases are steps at your request before a contract or performance of a contract; legal obligations; and legitimate interests in supporting customers and securing the website, balanced against your rights. We rely on consent for optional processing where consent is required, including nonessential cookies. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Payments

Live payment collection is not currently enabled. When a payment method is offered, its provider is identified at checkout and processes payment information under its own privacy terms. We receive the transaction information needed for the order. Please never email card numbers or security codes to Currimo. We do not need your complete payment card details to answer a support enquiry.

Service providers and disclosure

Information is handled through the services needed to operate this site, such as website hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce functions, email delivery, security, and, when enabled, payment processing. Providers receive information relevant to their function. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell customer personal information.

International processing

Visitors may use this website from different countries. A service provider may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer is made under UK data protection law, an applicable legal transfer mechanism and safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry or account.

Retention

We retain information only while it is needed for its stated purpose. Enquiries are kept while they are being addressed and for a reasonable follow up or dispute period; account information is kept while the account is maintained; transaction records are retained for applicable accounting, tax, and legal requirements; and technical logs are retained as needed for security and troubleshooting. We review information and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required. A legal obligation or ongoing dispute may require longer retention. You may ask us about the retention applicable to your information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to certain processing, obtain portable data, and withdraw consent. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. Email us to make a request; we may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or the relevant authority where you live.

Security and external links

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures for the information we handle. No internet service can promise absolute security. Protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect misuse. External websites linked from Currimo have their own privacy practices.

Children and updates

Our resources are intended for people considering work and professional development. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied data that should be removed. We may update this notice when our services or processing change; the current date appears above.
